Educator, Leader, listener

Hi, I’m Sarah Reale.

I believe education is the most important institution our government manages. And from research I completed in graduate school on education policy, to navigating ways to provide access to higher education in my career, education has become my greatest passion.

Our schools are experiencing attacks by groups demanding unnecessary teacher transparency, criticizing educators for their inclusive measures to support ALL students, increased need for mental health support for our students, and a rise in teacher burnout.

I’m tired of our education system taking the burden of so many of our polarizing political hot topics. I’m tired the lack of trust in our educators. And I’m especially tired of this political theater taking away from what is most important: our students.

I want to be part of a better future of Utah, and that’s why I’m running for office.

I want to be a voice for our students and educators and I want to build a more inclusive, safe, and better future for our schools.

I bring almost two decades of experience in higher education with a focus on public relations, marketing and communications and ten years experience in the classroom teaching the fundamentals of US Government and Politics.

I will listen, communicate, support collaboration, and do my part to support our students, educators, parents, and schools. We can work together to support education in the state of Utah.

Join me.

I want to hear from you!

More About Sarah

I am the oldest of four daughters (The Reale Girls) and education has always been a cornerstone in our family.

I am the daughter of an educator, my mom, Kimberly Reale teaches at Churchill Jr High. I also attended Churchill Jr High, and I am a proud student of Granite School District. Mrs. Reale inspires me with her dedication to her students. At 65 she started her master’s degree in education.

My sister Caroline (Smith), is also an educator. She teaches English and ELL at Ridgeline High School in Cache County. She holds a master’s degree in Education, and shortly after her second child was born, she started her doctorate program in Education.

I am grateful and thankful to be surrounded by a family who believes in education and has proven their dedication for generations.
